Audrey Allen, an 18-month old baby, was murdered by Joshua Allen Kruzik.
The little girl was killed because she cried in the middle of the night. Joshua Allen Kruzik, an US marine, a friend of Audrey Allen’s parents, came to them to spend weekends at their friends’ home. Before he came to them, he was at a local bar where he drank much alcohol. He had to care about the baby, when she cried. But Joshua Allen Kruzik beat the child too inhumanely. As a result, the little girl got numerous grave head injuries. The little child died at a local hospital.
David Kohn, the defense attorney for the murderer, confirmed that steroids were responsible for the abnormal behavior of his client. It was said that the murderer applied anabolic steroids. Before the incident he tried to discontinue taking these medications but he was not capable to do it. The defense attorney said that anabolic steroids caused “roid rage” in Joshua Allen Kruzik. He couldn’t not control his behavior and beat the little child. According to the defense attorney, Kruzik was unconscious. Although the defense attorney claimed that Kruzik was ready to assume the whole responsibility, he added that he was not guilty.
The victim’s parents also confirmed that their friend took anabolic steroids. The mother of the baby confirmed that she had syringes at her home. Thus, she injected Kruzik with steroids, when he came. Several other individuals also affirmed that he took steroids.
It is strange that anabolic steroids are demonized in this case. Are these preparations responsible for the murder? Take into account that Joshua Allen Kruzik has been drunk, when he has killed the baby!
It is not clear whether the judge will accept the steroid excuse.
