American youth are inclined to repeat each move of sports stars

American youth are fans of their sports stars. They have already numerous such idols from the days of the baseball players Babe Ruth and Shoeless Joe Jackson till the stars of today: the football player Peyton Manning and the baseball player Derek Jeter. Youth observe and repeat their each move.
Is it safe to idolize sports stars of today? It may be risky. Today sports heroes obtain millions of dollars due to intake of steroids. However the NFL and the MLB fight against usage of controlled substances, the war seems to be unsuccessful. Steroid use like cancer destructs sports. Although American youth are educated about serious side symptoms of these medications, the results are not satisfactory.
It is said that youth are suppressed to administrate steroids. They put efforts to meet the needed criteria of college admission; they idolize current professional sportspersons. The all these aspects induce using steroids.
Undoubtedly, all parents want their children to succeed. If children go info sports, their parents want them to compete successfully and to continue to play professionally. Children understand that it is difficult to do it. Which are the consequences? The pressure impacts greatly on American youth.  Over 10 % of teenagers feel that they need to lie in order to succeed. College admission levels have been reduced due to budget cuts. The Recovery Place supposes that it can cause the situation, when high school students will look for other ways to be able to stand out among crowds. Abuse of steroids can seem for teenagers to be the best alternative mean.
American youth observe that numerous professional sportspersons have succeeded differently. Some of them did it because of their talents and intensive workouts; others used steroids and other performance-enhancing drugs. If American youth follow those who dope, which will be the results?
Prolonged steroid use may cause addiction to these medications. Furthermore, consumers of steroids may experience such adverse effects, as liver disorders, cancer, high blood pressure, icterus, kidney disorders and bad cholesterol. These undesirable effects are considered to be serious; they can threaten to life.
Of course, parents don’t desire to see their children with destroyed health. They want their children to reach goals due to devotion to sports and intensive trainings. But it is difficult to do it because many others lie, applying steroids. Now it is time to do everything to push out steroids. These preparations shouldn’t disturb to make real our dreams.

Baseball is not yet drug-free

There is a theme which promotes heated discussions. Especially baseball fans are excited, if they hear about steroids and their impact on this sport. Thus, if you want to cause hot discussions, you just need to notice that certain baseball stars win due to intake of steroids.
Different individuals have various points of view, when it comes to the topic about steroids. Sometimes it is difficult to comprehend why certain persons who play baseball administrate steroids. Do they play baseball only for money? Are they so blinded by money and other awards that they do everything for these perspectives? Undoubtedly, the most respected baseball players are those who don’t apply steroids and win due to natural talents. Those are worth of respect, honor and awards that are not lured to administrate forbidden medications for achievement of their goals.
It is believed that consumers of steroids shouldn’t be elected for the Hall of Fame. It represents trying to avoid shame connected with the steroid era. You can observe efforts to leave all unpleasant aspects in past and to move further. But do these efforts to blame consumers of steroids mean that the steroid era is over? Actually, a wrong impression is created here. The steroid era is not over. Those who think that condemnation of steroid users mean that baseball is drug-free are mistaken.
Everyone knows that numerous baseball players have taken anabolic steroids and other related preparations. Moreover, no one doubts that today there are such baseball players that continue to administrate banned products. A lot of individuals discuss whether a player with average skills may transform in a great player due to usage of banned products. Some people claim that without proper talents steroids do not profit. Talents should present. Others do not agree with this affirmation. They confirm that steroids may enhance performance whatever talent an athlete has.
But the problem is that we demonize players that dope alone. But not only sportspersons must be demonized for the steroid era. Everyone knows what happens actually during the steroid era.
It is unlikely that the steroid era has come to the end. Baseball hasn’t yet past the dark clouds. Intake of steroids is still deeply in the soul of baseball. Decisive efforts should present to be sure that doping doesn’t affect baseball longer.

Poverty promotes doping in some situations

The Major League Baseball tries to do everything to prevent administration of steroids. It desires to nip doping in the bud. Then it will be able to achieve the big show. One of the locations where the efforts of the MLB are used and clearly observed is the Dominican Republic.
Those that live in the Dominican Republic want to play professional baseball in the U. S. This is not only a dream. This desire becomes real. So, the whole family drives. Unluckily, numerous individuals are inclined to use steroids and other related medications which enhance performance to achieve their goal.
The Dominican Republic is a country in which many people take steroids and other medications that enhance performance. That’s why a sportsperson from this location is asked whether he has used steroids or other related medicines. Undoubtedly, this individual claims that he has never doped because tests are performed and anybody is afraid to be caught administrating any controlled substance.
The MLB subjects to tests players from the Dominican Republic. So, one year 13 persons out of 40 tested amateur sportspersons from this location tested positive. The MLB intends to tests Dominicans and to punish those that dope.
It is said that the number of Dominicans that are sent to the MLB is essentially higher than the number of players that are sent from all countries of the Latin America.
The MLB tries to push steroids out of baseball. Amateur players are taught about risks for their health related to steroids. They are taught about side reactions that may be caused by steroids.
The financial position of the Dominican Republic is a great problem in this case. The average wage is about 8, 5000 dollars per year there. To get a signing bonus of 180, 000 dollars is a true achievement for any athlete from this Republic. That’s why sportspeople from the Dominican Republic are especially lured to dope for such perspectives. They desire to get a contract for playing professional baseball in the MLB. They try to get it for well-being of their families and for improvement quality of life in future. Signing a contract means moving from a rented small house to a private home, from poverty to normal conditions of life, from travelling by bus to driving own car.
Actually, administration of steroids is not a problem only in the Dominican Republic. It is a trouble which destroys the whole world. No one athlete can be sure whether he competes against a person who has natural skills and talents or against an individual that dopes. That’s why it is necessary to nip intake of steroids and other performance-enhancing drugs in the bud.
Youth should be educated about troubles linked with doping not only in the Dominican Republic or just in the U. S. but around the world.

Playing baseball without doping

The Major League Baseball experienced certain troublesome periods of time. It endured two situations which are claimed to be 2 world wars for baseball: the 1919 Black Sox scandal and the betting of Pete Rose on baseball. Now the MLB experiences steroid era. It is widely believed that it will be capable to endure this period too. There was a case that had a significant impact on baseball too. It was the case connected with Barry Bonds.
Undoubtedly, Barry Bonds was not the only player of the MLB who doped. Furthermore, he is not the last of them. A lot of baseball players have used prohibited medications to increase performance. Many players of baseball have received praise and millions of dollars due to usage of controlled substances.
The sums of money which can be gotten justify the risks connected with intake of steroids and other performance-enhancing drugs. The baseball players who apply forbidden medications do not care so scrupulously about their reputation, as they trouble about getting money. Such individuals are responsible for the influence that is spread upon fans who try to be similar to them and upon future generation that will have hot discussions about the steroid era in baseball.
Nobody can doubt that any baseball player that uses steroids destroys his honor. It is made only for money. Such player trades own reputation just for obtaining money.
Nonetheless, it is believed that future of baseball is light. A lot of baseball players have talents and appropriate skills; they train intensively and devote themselves totally to this sport. They are honest people. They keep their reputation. Such players love baseball truly. They do not worry just about money. Such baseball players are motivated by true love to baseball.
Generally, the MLB ignores steroids. But unfortunately, there are individuals in each sport who take unfair advantage due to steroid use.
Our hope is bright: we think that the day comes, when we’ll observe sportspersons that compete not because of intake of steroids and other related medications but due to natural talents, skills and hard workouts.

There is a hope that steroid use will be stopped in sports

The theme related to steroids appears everywhere. It is widely discussed by many people. Everyday numerous articles are written about these medications. You read news that report about individuals who take steroids. You come across situations related to those who are caught selling steroids and sentenced to probation or jail. However steroids are prescribed for many patients to cure them from certain diseases, intake of these preparations for performance-enhancing effects is more widely spread. It seems that it corrupts the whole world.
Many persons are controlled by money. If they may get money due to distribution or usage of anabolic steroids, they do it. They are not stopped by the laws. They take and sell these medications, in spite of the fact that they are considered to be illicit in some countries. Numerous persons violate steroid laws because they can earn money, selling and/or using steroids.
It is undoubtedly that you have read some articles about wrestlers that have applied forbidden preparations for many years. Some of consumers died because of sudden attacks, being young. But no one wants to realize that fatal cases happen due to steroids. A lot of persons deny connections between severe diseases and usage of steroids.
The Major League Baseball tries to escape from steroid era. We hope that the time comes, when baseball will be played without doping and winners will be decided due to natural talent and skills of players but not due to drugs that have performance-enhancing effects.
It is impossible to be sure that you realize how wide spread usage of controlled substances is in professional and non-professional sports. Usage of steroids by competitive sportspeople is cheating. If sportspeople use products that increase performance, they lie. They take unfair advantage during competitions.
Any steroid user who goes info sports should determine whether he/she has talent to be involved in sports. If he/she is not able to compete, he/she must have another job. Each individual should do the job he/she really can do. So, if you can’t play football, you should do another job.
There is a hope that administration of steroids and other performance-enhancing drugs will be stopped in sports. It may be that this time will be soon in the future. Who knows?

The court decided to sentence to imprisonment a steroid dealer that cares about 5 children and his wheelchair-bound wife

The laws which ban intake of anabolic steroids have appeared not without any reason. They turned out to be responses to widespread usage of steroids in competitive sports. Anti-Doping Agencies thought that ban of steroids would keep professional sportspeople far from intake of illegal drugs. But criminalization of steroids influenced on intake of steroids by competitive sportspeople insignificantly.
The steroid laws commonly don’t prosecute sportspeople who use illegal products. On the contrary, non-competitive athletes and recreational bodybuilders are usually targets of the steroid laws. They suffer due to consequences of breaking these laws.
This is not only one’s point of view. This is reality. Let realize: who is sentenced to jail because of distributing steroids? For example, Ashley Dewayne Rivers of Alabama received 5 months in jail because he had sold about $2000 worth of steroids to a physician. Actually, this individual was not the target of a steroid investigation. He only turned out to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. The estranged wife of this physician said to federal investigators that her husband was implicated in operations of black steroid market. So, the statement of this lady led to the situation, when the physician was investigated.
Actually, Rivers was a supplier of steroids for short period of time. He provided these medicines to his friends of his gym. James Robinson, the defense attorney for Ashley Rivers, confirmed that his client had understood his guilty wholly and taken the total responsibility for his illegal actions.  The attorney stated that Rivers was a good individual. Although he broke the steroid laws, he realized the risks and acknowledged his guilty.
James Robinson asked the judge to sentence Rivers Ashley just to probation.  Rivers cared about his physically impaired wife, 2 children that were adopted by him  and 3 children of his disabled brother. Moreover, this man gave about 40, 000 dollars for persons that lost their homes because of tornadoes. It would be better, if he were sentenced to probation. He would continue to work for his family and other persons.
But Christopher Brinson, the Assistant U. S. Attorney, rejected the request of the defense attorney James Robinson. He claimed that Rivers committed a serious crime and he must serve time in prison. However the judge was inclined to agree with the request of the defense attorney  at the beginning, finally he made the decision to agree with the Assistant U.S. Attorney and sentenced Ashley Rivers to 5 months in jail.
You can realize that steroid laws have just a slight influence on professional sportspeople.

In the spite of the condition that Jose Canseco will probably never escape from his steroid past, he put efforts to continue playing professional baseball

Jose Canseco is a former player of the Major League Baseball. He was banned for administration of steroids. This player wrote a book “Juiced” in which he noted that numerous players of the MLB used steroids.
Now he has been invited to play for the Tigres de Quintana Roo of Cancun. Jose Canseco has proclaimed about his desire to play in the MLB again. Jose Canseco has written on Twitter that Cancun is his following step towards the MLB.
This person has not played professional baseball since 2001 after he had played for the Chicago White Sox. Jose Canseco was probably blackballed by baseball due to his comments related to steroids and described in the book “Juiced: Wild Times, Rampant ‘Roids, Smash Hits & How Baseball Got Big”.  He has identified himself as the “godfather” of steroids in baseball and took credit for introducing these medications in baseball. Jose Canseco openly acknowledged in his book that he had used anabolic steroids and other drugs that have performance-enhancing effects. This player mentioned also names of other baseball players that took steroids. Such persons, as  Mark McGwire, Juan Gonzalez, Rafael Palmeiro, Ivan Rodriguez, and Jason Giambi were identified by Jose Canseco.
However anabolic steroids can be gotten without any prescription at Mexican pharmacies, they are banned in MLB.
According to some sources, Jose Canseco will be tested for forbidden drugs by the Quintana Roo Tigers.
The former baseball player confirms that he has stopped using steroids some years ago. According to certain sources, since stopping taking steroids it had been recommended testosterone replacement therapy for him to cure certain problems linked with reduced level of testosterone.
Jose Canseco noticed that he had had several unwanted consequences because of intake of steroids. So, his doctor had to recommend him a testosterone gel to relieve from low libido and depression.
While Jose Canseco tried to restore his natural production of testosterone, he got some troubles with laws. This person was detained for about 9 hours by the San Diego Immigration and Customs Enforcement after he had been caught possessing HCG at the international border. Jose Canseco’s house was raided by law enforcement officials but no any steroids were found.
However Jose Canseco will never escape from his steroid past, he tries to continue playing professional baseball.

Some people believe that steroid exemptions are given to any athlete to permit intake of steroids

Several mixed martial artists have publicly acknowledged that they take anabolic steroids as a part of testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) that has been prescribed by physicians. The executive director of the Nevada State Athletic commission (NSAC) Keith Kizer believes that this factor has created a perception among numerous persons that steroid exemptions are given to allow MMA fighters to take the steroid testosterone.
During an interview with Ben Fowlkes of MMA Fighting the executive director of the NSAC said that several persons thought that any fighter could receive exemptions for administration of testosterone. He noticed that he couldn’t say it about other states but he mentioned about the situation in Nevada. According to Kizer,  it is 50/50 whether a request for steroid exemption  will be approved.
TRT is a therapy that is required for adult males with hypogonadism (low testosterone levels). If athletes correspond to the medical criteria, they may be allowed to administrate steroids.
The NSAC has strict requirements for those who try to get a therapeutic use exemption (TUE) for administration of steroids. A sportsperson must have the document that manifests that blood levels of testosterone are reduced.  But if a sportsperson has low level of testosterone, it is not sufficient to obtain a TUE. Treating doctors must identify reasons and medical conditions. The details connected with testosterone replacement therapy must be identified by doctors as well. Every detail must display that certain sportsperson has to  use testosterone for medical purposes and administration of steroids will not give unfair advantage to the sportsperson.
Certain top athletes of Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) have administrated steroids for TRT. Chael Sonnen, Nate Marquardt, Dennis Hallman and Dan Henderson belong to the starts of the UFC who take steroids for clinical needs.
Keith Kizer, the executive director of the NSAC confirms that ban of steroids makes MMA safer. He notes that if a fighter uses steroids, he/she takes unfair advantage as if it is applied knuckles that are hidden inside gloves.  Thus, this is not only lying. This situation is linked with dangers for life. If you say to a fighter that you can put knuckles in the gloves so, as no one will know it, this athlete will ask you not to bother him. But it is strangely that such athlete administrates steroids.
Undoubtedly, intake of steroids has potential dangers to increase the harm that can occur in MMA.

A father that injected his teenage son with steroids took the whole responsibility

James Gahan injected his son Corey who is 13 years old with anabolic steroids. The father wanted him to become an Olympic athlete.
This boy is an inline skating champion at the national level. Corey Gahan won the 2004 Inline Speed Skating Nationals. He also won the 2nd  place at the 2005 National Indoor Speed Skating Championship.
Corey’s father pleaded guilty in possessing and injecting steroids to his little son. This person collaborated with a trainer from Florida to provide the young athlete with following drugs: testosterone, Deca Durabolin, HGH and HCG. James Gahan was arrested in May, 2004. As a result of his illegal actions, he received 6 years in prison.
Since he had already completed his time in a prison, he was released. He began to confirm that his attitude to steroids and other performance-enhancing drugs had been changed totally. This person talked to high school athletes about risks related to administration of steroids. It was a part of his community service to which he had  been ordered by the court.
This person said nothing about influence of steroids on the life and health of his 13-year old son. James Gahan noted only about own experiences with these drugs. James Gahan added that if one wanted to see negative results of anabolic steroids, he might display them because he used these medicines. James Gahan mentioned that he used 45 pills daily and his insides had eroded.
Actually, he didn’t explain what he meant, claiming that his insides had eroded due to steroids. He said nothing about his illness which required 45 tablets per one day!
James said about Corey that he had known everything they had done. But he noticed that since he was the father, he took the total responsibility upon himself. But he concluded that it would be better for Corey to admit that he had cheated.
But Corey doesn’t desire to communicate with his father who has provided him with steroids. Earlier he has claimed that his father has never been sorry for injecting him with steroids; he has been sorry because he has been caught doing it.

Unsuccessful end of Colin Daynes’ athletic career

The Greco-Roman wrestler Colin Daynes hoped to represent Canada at the 2012 London Olympics. Unfortunately, his dreams will not be real. Administration of prohibited preparations caused this unpleasant case. This wrestler was caught taking steroids, diuretics and a selective estrogen receptor modulator.
Earlier this wrestler won the 74 kg division at the Canadian Wrestling Qualification Trials.
The Canadian Centre for Ethics in Sports proclaimed that Colin Daynes had tested positive for such banned preparations, as boldenone, drostanolone, furosemide and tamoxifen. Boldenone and drostanolone belong to anabolic steroids which are better known under their trade names: Equipose and Masteron. As for Tamoxifen, it is known as Nolvadex. This preparation is usually used in combinations with certain others to minimize fluid retention. Furosemide or Lasix belongs to the class of diuretics. Wrestlers take this medication as well as other diuretics to lose body weight to correspond to requirements of certain weight categories.
Colin Daynes acknowledged that he had used anabolic steroids and other prohibited drugs intentionally. This wrestler noted that he had administrated these medicines to receive recovery from a partially-torn bicep and an elbow injury.  But Colin Daynes added that he hadn’t known that these products were prohibited by the WADA. Colin Daynes blamed his health care provider for this factor. He said that he had consulted a naturopathic doctor who recommended him using these medicines. Colin Daynes noted that if he had known that the drugs were forbidden, he would not have competed.
The Greco-Roman wrestler represented Canada at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics. After he won the national trials in 2008 he desired to compete at the Beijing Olympics. But he didn’t take part in this Olympics because he couldn’t qualify internationally. Recently this wrestler won the Canadian Wrestling Qualifying Trials in December, 2011, and had to secure his allowance for the 2012 London Olympics through the competition at the Pan American Wrestling Championship.
But due to usage of prohibited preparations Colin Daynes has been sentenced to 2-year ban. It means that he is not permitted to compete till December 2012, when his athletic career ends as well.
Colin Daynes confirmed that he had represented the native country proudly. He concluded that people could judge him, if they were able to do it after his 25-year successful career and everything he had done.

Lance Armstrong was accused in participating in a doping program

The doping case against Lance Armstrong is announced to be closed. He remains to be considered a champion that won at the Tour de France 7 times.
It is known that federal prosecutors tried to determine whether this cyclist and his teammates have taken part in a doping program. The length of the investigation has been about 2 years.
Lance Armstrong denied that he has used controlled substances. The charges against Lance Armstrong threatened not only to his athletic career but also to his Foundation of cancer research and support. The efforts to prove that this cyclist took steroids were in vain.
This cyclist said that he had heard that the US Attorney’s Office decided to close the case. He noted that it was a right decision. Armstrong added that he was waiting to continue his usual life, being a father, a competitor and an advocate in the fight against cancer.
The attorney Andre Birotte announced during a press conference that the US Attorney’s Office closed the investigation related to the case of Lance Armstrong. This attorney didn’t mention about any reason of this decision. But he indicated that come previous similar investigations were also closed.
For example, the case connected with Barry Bonds was claimed to be less-than-successful. Prosecutors were not able to prove that this sportsperson had lied about administration of steroids. As for the case related to Roger Clemens, the trial was indicated for another time because the judge declared about previous mistrial.
Investigators believed that a doping program was organized by Armstrong’s team. They desired to define whether it was so as they believed. Authorities investigated whether Lance Armstrong encouraged or induced doping.
In fact, prosecutors put efforts to define whether Armstrong and his team violated federal conspiracy and fraud charges. While Barry Bonds testified before a federal grand jury and Clemens testified before Congress, Armstrong was not forced to testify before a grand jury. Barry Bonds and Clemens were accused in lying under oath.
Frank, a former teammate of Lance Armstrong, and her wife Betsy Andreu accused Armstrong in usage of controlled substance. They noticed that they were shocked by the decision to close the investigation. They concluded that such situations happened due to possessing money and corruption.

Media quotes Dr. Fost’s statements about adverse reactions of steroids wrongly

The professor of Wisconsin’s University Norm Fost claims about some common misconceptions connected with anabolic steroids. However certain specialists note about severe and even life-threatening undesirable consequences of anabolic steroids, the physician Fost denies these statements, confirming that they don’t have any scientific basis.
But statements of Norm Fost are not so frequently quoted by media as statements about severe undesirable consequences of steroids.  Thus, the message of Norm Fost that steroids are not so dangerous, as it is believed, is noted once for every 500-time statement that steroids represent a real evil.
Moreover, editors usually create a wrong perception among readers, writing the quotes of this physician wrongly. For example, a headline of a radio talk sounds following: “UW-Madison doctor: steroids aren’t harmful at all”. The headline is wrong. It is misleading. Norm Fost has never stated that steroids were not harmful at all. It is obvious that these substances can lead to various adverse consequences. Norm fost doesn’t deny risks of occurring  undesirable consequences. Actually, this expert says some other things. Norm Fost notices that potential risks of steroids are essentially exaggerated. This doctor denies the affirmation that steroids lead to the rare type of brain cancer. According to several sources, this led to the death of Lyle Alzado, a player of the NFL. Dr. Fost notices that there is no any connection between the death of this player and steroids.
Alzado demonized his prolonged steroid abuse for the primary brain lymphoma that finally led to his death. Assertion of this person was the only evidence that supported the connection between his intake of steroids and the brain cancer.
But a question appears here. Why did Alzado make public his steroid use, demonizing anabolic steroids for his diseases? Couldn’t you find this factor strange?
Actually, it was said that AIDS had suppressed his immune system and promoted destructing his body by the primary brain lymphoma.
A pathologist said that Lyle Alzado had had T-cell lymphoma that was connected with AIDS. According to Dr. Thomas DeLoughery, Alzado was afraid that the public would know that he died from AIDS because of the cancer.
Pathologists at OHSU reported that Lyle Alzado had had B-cell lymphoma which was not connected with HIV or AIDS.
The physician DeLoughery explained the case. He noted that T-cells of this person were inflamed but the malignant cells were B-cells.
While experts disputed about AIDS and the type of cancer which Lyle Alzado had, no one of them noted about connection between his brain lymphoma and usage of steroids.

Religious view of Anna Watson didn’t permit her to use steroids

The University of Georgia cheerleader Anna Watson noticed that she was pressured to administrate steroids to obtain a fitness modeling contract. Her modeling agent recommended her to use Anavar to gain needed 50 pounds of muscles. This person was tempted but finally she refused this recommendation. She claimed that her body was “a temple” and she wouldn’t affect it.
Anna Watson mentioned that she had been tempted by usage of steroids a lot of times. The agent tried to present steroids as something good.
It was said that she would get a $75,000 per year fitness modeling contract, if she apply steroids and gain 50 pounds of muscles. This lady said that she told Elite Model Management representatives in Paris. Elite is one of the most prestigious modeling networks. Such celebrated models, as Adriana Lima, Cindy Crawfors and Gisele Bundchen belong to Elite.
But Anna Watson preferred to be a cheerleader at the University to being involved in the glamorous world. Furthermore, she rejected usage of steroids because this factor was not in harmony with her religious principles. this lady confirmed that she didn’t serve a modeling agent but the Lord. She added that she had been created as a nice creation. This person made a conclusion that she wouldn’t break her moral and religious principles only to take photos. This lady  decided not to affect her health.
Certain questions appear, reading these affirmations. Somebody could ask whether Elite Model Management looks for models who have the same appearance like competitive female bodybuilders. Or may be Anna Watson just desire to draw people’s attention by taking advantage of negative attitude to steroids?
It is said that if Anna Watson acquires 50 pounds of muscles, she will be capable to compete on national bodybuilding stage. But what is for contract of 75, 000 dollars per year? Sportspersons know that such sums of money are not obtained easily even in sports. But may such large sum of money be obtained from modeling agency? It is controversial.
Females that are involved in bodybuilding fight greatly to obtain prize money. Women with muscular bodies are more likely to receive money from “schmoes” (males that have sexual fetish for muscular women) than from the most prestigious modeling agencies.

Which product is responsible for Lawal’s positive for Masteron?

King Mo Lawal acknowledged that he had used a dietary supplement that was tainted. As it turned out to be, that supplement contained 2 ingredients which were synthetic steroids. According to this person and his manager, consumption of this product led to positive for Masteron.
This fighter said during an interview for MMA Hour that he had bought “S-Mass Lean Gainer” in a Max Muscle store in April, 2010. This product was produced by Steel Body Production.
But this is not the case, when steroid ingredients are not written. Synonyms of banned preparations are listed on the label of S-Mass Lean Gainer. In fact, these steroids were the subjects of some debates between anti-doping organizations and federal regulators since 2005. They are following:  2a-17a-Dimethyl-5aandrost-3-one 17b-ol and 4-Chloro-17a-Methyl-a-andro4-ene3, 17b-diol. These preparations are better known under the names: Superdrol and Promagnon.
As for Superdrol, it goes by methyldrostanolone, methasteron and 2a-17a-Dimethyl-5aandrost-3-one 17b-ol. Thus, methylated version of Masteron was defined in the urine sample of King Mo Lawal by a proper lab of the anti-doping agency.
Anabolic Resources, a pharmaceutical company, was the first which manufactured Superdrol as a dietary supplement. It was more than 5 years ago. This company was charged with elaborating of a new unapproved medication. Later Anabolic Resources pleaded guilty and admitted that they had marketed a synthetic steroid as a dietary supplement.  As a result, this pharmaceutical company had to pay a fine of 500, 000 dollars.
As for Promagnon, it also originally appeared as a dietary supplement in 2005 by Peak Performance’ Labs. The government didn’t take any action against the company for manufacturing and selling this steroid. But the company decided to stop manufacturing this product in 2006.
Although legal status of these two steroids is controversial, numerous companies have produced and distributed them as dietary supplements during about 6 years. It goes without saying that persons who are involved in this industry know about the status of these products but they continue to sell them.
Mike Kogan, the manager for King Mo Lawal, proclaims that the full responsibilities must be taken by the companies which market synthetic steroids as dietary supplements. This person adds that such companies misguide consumers intentionally.

Ryan Braun notes that he will prove his innocence

Although Ryan Braun of the Milwaukee Brewers faces a suspension for administration of anabolic steroids, he accepted his Most Valuable Player Award at the dinner of Baseball Writers Association. This man didn’t acknowledge to administration of forbidden drugs. He claimed that he had turned to be a victim of a false positive. This person fights against the results that have been proclaimed.
However it has been lately discussed whether consumers of steroids may be voted for Baseball’s Hall of Fame, they do not forfeit their Most Valuable Player awards. Even admitted consumers of steroids keep their MVP awards.
Jack O’Connell made it clear that Ryan Braun would be allowed to receive the MVP awards. Earlier other steroid users were allowed also to keep their MVP awards. For example, Ken Caminity kept his 1996 MVP award; Alex Rodriquez kept his 2003 MVP award. Both these sportspersons acknowledged that they had used steroids.
According to testosterone: epitestosterone (T: E) ratio, Ryan Braun had elevated level of testosterone in October 2011. The T: E ratio has indicated about exogenous type of testosterone. Actually, this test can’t show actual quantity of used testosterone.
Another method of testing was used by the World Anti-Doping Agency accredited lab in Montreal to confirm the analysis of the T: E ratio testing. It was applied carbon isotope ratio testing that indicated about existence of exogenous testosterone.
Several sportswriters thought that Ryan Braun should have forfeited his MVP awards because of the positives for banned drugs. But this person made another decision. Ryan Braun decided to accept the awards and address with the speech about false charges with intake of steroids.  He said that characters of persons are revealed in such cases of adversary. This American baseball player noted that he had a great respect to baseball. This player added that he made a lot for his career in this sport but he had done everything with respect and appreciation towards baseball.
It was said that Braun had been one of the youngest players of the Major League Baseball who didn’t feel needs to administrate steroids to be able to play. When this person heard about positive of Alex Rodriquez for steroids, he was very surprised.  He noted that Alex Rodriquez should have been enough honest to say about administration of prohibited medicines.
Ryan Braun decided to fight against the results of his tests, saying that unusual circumstances surrounded this case. The baseball player mentioned that he would prove his innocence and false positives.

A young amateur cyclist used more than 10 performance-enhancing drugs

Administration of anabolic steroids and other performance-enhancing drugs is widespread among amateur as well as professional sportspeople. It isn’t surprisingly, if athletes test positive for forbidden drugs. But there are some unusual situations, when a person tests positive for numerous banned preparations. Here is an example.
Alexandre Dougnier, a teenage amateur French cyclist tested positive for over 10 prohibited preparations, including over 5 steroid metabolites. It was at a race in France in May, 2011. This young person has been sentenced to 3-year ban from competitions.
It was determined that this young cyclist had administrated such steroids, as Anavar, Dianabol and Winstrol. Other steroid metabolites which were discovered in his urine sample included  3-Hydroxystanozolol, 16b-Hydroxystanozolol, 4b-Hydroxystanozolol, Oxandrolone, epi-Oxandrolone, 6b-Hydroxymethandienone and 17-epi-Methandienone.
Alexandre Dougnier was a member of the Parisian Athletic Club de Boulogne-Billancourt. Certain persons note that this young cyclist might have been a follower of the club’s doper Jacques Anquetil. This person has been claimed to be a well-known individual of cycling’s history. Jacques Anquetil was a member of the club de Boulogne-Billancourt in 1950s and 1960s. Jacques Anquetil was the first cyclist who had won the Tour de France 5 times. He had received also 2 Olympic medals.
Jacques Anquetil used steroids and other performance-enhancing drugs. Furthermore, this cyclist defended doping during a TV debate with the French sports minister. He noticed that it was not possible to endure cold, heat waves and rain in mountains during cycling without doping. He claimed that only a fool person would endure these conditions connected with the extreme sport of cycling without doping. This celebrated cyclist added that drug testing might deprive individual liberty. Jacques Anquetil said that everybody doped.
It is important to notice steroids were not so widespread among cyclists in 1950s and 1960s. Usage of more dangerous amphetamines was more widespread during those years. As for intake of anabolic steroids, it has become more enhanced during past two decades.
Let observe which affirmations have been said about steroids, when other cyclists have been caught using them. When Floyd Landis was caught taking testosterone, it was argued by his legal team that neither anabolic steroids, nor other performance-enhancing drugs were able to increase performance in cyclists.  As for the distributor of steroids Joseph Papp, he didn’t agree with this affirmation. He noticed that administration of steroids was widespread in elite cycling. According to his words, any individual may take testosterone gels in a clever way without being caught by anti-doping programs: users of transdermal testosterone should take in consideration detection time.
Alexandre Dougnier wasn’t careful and didn’t attempt to avoid detection. He probably didn’t suppose that cyclists would be tested for banned medications at the race in Aubervilliers.

Rampage Jackson expresses his thoughts about steroid use by sportspersons

Quinton Rampage Jackson and King Mo Lawal don’t like each other. They didn’t show their negative attitude to each other for certain years. During an interview Lawal said about their relationships, noticing that he doesn’t like  Rampage Jackson that also doesn’t like him.
That’s why it is not surprisingly at all that Rampage Jackson expressed his thoughts about the fact linked with Lawal’s positive for drostanolone (Masterone).
Jackson noticed that it was quite obvious that King Mo Lawal had used steroids. He pointed out that Lawal was not a real fighter. He applied steroids to be capable to fight.
Rampage Jackson said that there were fighters that were allowed to take steroids. He referred to those who had to use steroids for testosterone replacement therapy. This person said that it was a real difference between purposes. Fighters and other sportspeople are allowed to administrate steroids for TRT and not for enhancement of performance, according to Quinton Rampage Jackson.
This fighter says that there are people that experience some health problems. They consult their health care providers who prescribe steroids. They use these medications in order to become healthier and to stay competitive. But he adds that there are fighters who use steroids to increase their performance. It is too sadly, according to this mixed martial artist.
Nevertheless, administration of steroids for testosterone replacement therapy by sportspeople is a quite controversial issue.
Such fighters, as Dennis Hallman, Chael Sonnen, Nate Marquardt and Dan Henderson acknowledged that they had administrated steroids because of hypogonadism.
Thus, Rampage Jackson is a fighter who confirmed about permission to use steroids as a part of TRT by athletes. But there are other fighters who don’t support this opinion. Numerous athletes have the same point of view as Michael Bisping has. They think that steroid use is just justified by medical conditions. They proclaim that all fighters that take anabolic steroids, claiming that they are on TRT, are cheaters.
King Mo Lawal says that he is not guilty, claiming that his manager has heard nothing about the steroid Masterone. Both Lawal and his manager confirm that they are actually surprised by the results of the test.
A fight between Jackson and Lawal was waiting by many fans. There were certain rumors that they would fight in February, 2012. But the dreams of fans were not justified. Lawal has to serve a suspension.

Chris Cyborg Santos became indignant by Rousey’s comments

The president of the UFC Dana White proclaimed about the end of the female featherweight division in Strikeforce. He noticed that it was related to positive of Christiane Cyborg Santos for Winstrol. Dana White claimed that this factor would induce the ending of the whole division. Santos forfeited her title. That’s why the president of the UFC came to the conclusion connected with the end of the division.
It is believed that the president of the UFC Dana White didn’t suggest which would be the response of some individuals to the Winstrol metabolites that had been discovered in Santos’ sample. He didn’t except that a significant war would start on Twitter between famous female fighters.
Rowdy Ronda Rousey who is the top of female MMA featherweight and that has got the bronze medal in judo noted about her negative attitude to usage of anabolic steroids and her attitude to Cyborg Santos.
Rowdy Rousey made her thoughts about this issue public. She expressed them during an interview with TapouT Radio. Rowdy Rousey said that intake of steroids was caused by uncertainty of sportspersons in their skills, strength and abilities. This female fighter pointed out that the decision to apply performance-enhancing drugs came from the thoughts that the persons were not enough skilled to win in competitions. She confirmed that administration of steroids and other related medicines showed psychological weakness of consumers. According to this female fighter, this weakness leads to cheating.
Rowdy Rousey noticed about her attitude to the ban of Cyborg Santos during certain interviews. This person talked to Mauro Ranallo during “The MMA Show” that she knew that Santos had used prohibited medicines. Rowdy Rousey said that she never had respect toward Chris Cyborg Santos. Rowdy Rousey concluded that she was happy to know out that Santos had been caught and banned.
As for Santos, she became indignant because of Rousey’s affirmations. She told her fans on Twitter that Rousey would be her next victim at the fight. The fight will probably be after successful serving of the ban by Santos. She thinks that she will be welcomed by Strikeforce.
Santos wrote following words, referring to Rowdy Ronda Rousey: “Proxima victim…Ronda! No mercy!!” Santos hosted a picture of Gina Carano after she defeated her at Strikeforce Female Championship. But she didn’t post the real picture. Instead of it, she used Photoshop to exaggerate the damages which were inflicted by her upon Gina Carano.
Rowdy Rousey didn’t hesitate a lot; she responded to the words and the picture at once. She had harsh expressions for Santos, blaming her for lying and for hosting  the picture, applying Photoshop.
A lot of people consider that the war on Twitter between Rowdy Ronda Rousey and Christiane Cyborg Santos is more entertaining than some real fights. It seems that this war is the preparation for the fight between Rousey and Santos that will probably take place in 2013.
