Decisions of anti-doping agencies are not fair in several cases. Since certain sportspersons are caught breaking anti-doping rules, the whole teams receive suspensions. So, individuals that don’t violate anti-doping rules receive suspensions together with cheaters. Can’t you find it unfair? Why must good athletes be kept from making their hopes and dreams real, while other individuals cheat?
The Waterloo football program was shut down for a year. It was because of results of an investigation. Everything started from a bust of a player that was caught having thousands of vials of anabolic steroids and HGH. This detection caused many investigations led in Canadian colleges. The investigations were conducted by the Canadian Centre for Ethics in Sport.
An investigation displayed eight positives of the Waterloo football players. It led to decision to suspend the whole team for a year.
Unfortunately, innocent players of the Waterloo College were suspended together with cheaters who utilized prohibited performance-enhancing medicines. The players Matt Vonk and Steve Ples played at Laurier before the scandal related to steroids and the suspension. These two players didn’t administrate steroids. That’s why These football players hadn’t receive the suspension.
These two former football players for the University of Waterloo intended to transfer to another college in order to realize their dreams related to football. But these players received refusal. Thus, these two football players will be kept from playing football the whole year.
